  Over rated. To expensive. As for the staff, they need training in customer care. The lady in takeaway section has a attitude no smiles, just a sour looking lady. She looks like she doesn't enjoy being there Just makes u want to walk out. Save your time, it's worth the drive to Petes fish shop at the spit. There takeaway food is cheaper and better, at least u get more and it's fresh. Charis doesn't look after locals. They more for the tourist. Prawns are way more expensive here, your better to buy from trawlers at main beach. At least u know its fresh. The worst seafood shop on gold coast.

  Beautiful location. Food expensive. Four in our group. I ordered a piece of snapper in batter. Another ordered grilled fish. My snapper was grilled and I was given a battered piece of flake instead. The 2 other orders were for crumbed fish and chips. Both pieces of fish smelled and tasted of ammonia and were returned and replaced (but not eaten)Chips were soggy and fed to the seagulls. Never again.
